Beth began her journey as a Child Advocate over a decade ago. She has been volunteering her time to public service since 1992 with her first opportunity as an American Red Cross Crisis Counselor. Over the following 25+ years she has held numerous, diverse positions within her community but her true passion is children's disability advocacy. In the past ten years she has been published numerous times in local newspapers, appeared in television interviews, participated in advisory panels, lectured at universities, and is a contributor to the blog "Special Happens". In her spare time Beth enjoys her role as her children as a double parent, spending time with her family, and staying physically active.
