This Council is no longer in existence. HF634 instituted the Justice Advisory Board and eliminated this Board, the Criminal & Juvenile Justice Planning Advisory Council, and the Sex Offender Research Council.
The Public Safety Advisory Board was created in FY 2011 by the Legislature. The purpose of the Board is to provide the General Assembly with an analysis of current and proposed criminal code provisions.
The Criminal and Juvenile Justice Advisory Council determined that its full membership would serve as members of the Public Safety Advisory Board. A listing of members can be accessed on the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Advisory Council page.
