Meet CAPI Commissioner Caleb Lillquist

Caleb Lillquist is from Mason City, Iowa, where he grew up after his Mother was adopted from Seoul, Korea in the 1980s.  Lillquist is currently enrolled in Drake University’s Law and Journalism program in Des Moines Iowa where he plans to attend law school in the near future. Just this past year, Lillquist ended his Investigative Internship at the Iowa Attorney General’s working in the criminal division and holds several student-leadership positions on Drake’s campus. He also writes for a multitude of student and professional publications as a political reporter and opinion writer. Lillquist continues to give everyone a platform with whom he comes into contact in order to elevate their voices through his writing, all the while still having the flame of wanting to become a criminal defense attorney someday. You can typically find Caleb daydreaming about crime noir detective novels or playing video games in his free time.
